Age Limit (as on 01.09.2024)

• Trade Apprentice – 18 to 27 Years
• Technician Apprentice – 18 to 27 Years
• Graduate Apprentice – 18 to 27 Years

Upper Age Limit Relaxation :

• SC / ST Candidates – 5 Years
• OBC Candidates – 3 Years
• PwBD (Gen / EWS) Candidates – 10 Years
• PwBD (SC / ST) Candidates – 15 Years
• PwBD (OBC) Candidates – 13 Years

Education Qualification Details for BHEL Apprentice Recruitment 2024:

Trade Apprentices :

• High School Pass and ITI Pass as a Regular Full Time candidate of the last Three years, from a NCVT/SCVT recognized institute. For all Trades except Welder in NCVT/SCVT certificate is required. For welder NCVT shall only be considered.
• Discipline: Fitter/Welder/Machinist/Instrument Mechanic/Electrician/Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)/Plumber

Technician Apprentice :

• Pass in High School and Pass in Diploma in Engineering or Technology as a regular full time candidate.
• Discipline: Mechanical/Electronics & Communication/Electrical & Electronics/Civil
• Candidates should possess minimum Sixty Percentage (60%) marks in Diploma in Engineering or Technology, to be eligible for applying for apprenticeship training
• Where there is vacancy identified for such category, SC, ST and PD candidates with minimum 50% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Technology are eligible to apply for apprenticeship training.

Graduate Apprentice:

• Passed in 10+2 and Graduation in Engineering or Technology as a regular full time candidate in the last Three years from a Govt. Recognized Institution/University.
• Discipline : Mechanical/Production/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Civil/Computer Science
• Accountant – B.Com :  Passed in 10+2 and Graduation in Commerce (B.Com) as a regular full time candidate in the last Three years fiom a Gow. Recognized/Institution/University.
• Assistant (HR) – B.Sc or BA : Passed in 10+2 and Graduation in Science B.Sc or BA as a regular full time candidate in the last Three years from a Gow Recognized Institution/University.
• Minimum Educational Qualification : As specified above with minimum 80%marks for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST Candidates, from a Goverment recognised Institution/Universiy.

Note: Candidates who have passed their graduation only in the last Three years i.e. 2022, 2023 8 2024 will be eligible to apply for apprenticeship training in 2024.

Duration of training: The duration of Apprenticeship Training will be for a period of one year from the date of joining, as per Apprentices Act 1961.

Stipend :

• Trade Apprentice – Rs. 8,050/-
• Technician Apprentice – Rs. 8,000/-
• Graduate Apprentice – Rs. 9,000/-
